Beloved Earthstrong Birth Liaisons

As a doula, my work rests in holding space for families during one of life’s most powerful transitions. I believe every journey is unique, and my role is to honor that uniqueness—never comparing, never rushing, always trusting the wisdom within each parent.

I walk beside you with balance and steadiness, helping you make choices with clarity and confidence. Whether it’s offering encouragement in the hardest moments, protecting your health and rest, or simply listening deeply, I show up as part of your support system as one who cares for your whole being—body, mind, and spirit.

Birth and parenting unfold in many forms, and flexibility is often needed. I help families adapt with resilience, while still holding onto their vision for the life they are building together. Through mindful presence, gentle advocacy, and grounded guidance, I strengthen trust between parents, providers, and community.

My approach is rooted in kindness, patience, and celebration. I recognize the growth that happens with each stage, and I nurture not only the legacy carriers, but also legacy protectors—reminding everyone of their innate ability to love, protect, and persevere.

At my core, I am a guardian of support: weaving practical comfort with ancestral wisdom, translating questions into answers, and keeping joy alive in even the most intense moments. No two journeys are the same, and yet each one deserves the same devotion, respect, and care.

This is what it means to have me as your doula—someone who believes in your vision, honors your story, and walks with you every step of the way.

Frequently Ask Question

What is a doula?

A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to a birthing parent before, during, and just after childbirth. Their role is to help their clients have a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience by offering continuous support and advocating for the client's wishes. Doulas are not medical professionals and do not perform medical procedures; instead, they focus on providing comfort, guidance, and reassurance to the birthing parent and their partner.

Do I need a doula if I have a midwife or doctor?

While having a doula is not a medical necessity, many birthing parents find that the additional support and guidance from a doula can enhance their birth experience, even if they already have a healthcare provider.

Can a doula help with pain management during childbirth?

Yes, doulas can provide various comfort measures, such as massage, breathing techniques, and positioning suggestions, to help manage pain during labor.

How is a doula different from a midwife?

Doulas are non-medical professionals who provide support and comfort to their clients during childbirth, while midwives are trained medical professionals who provide medical care and deliver babies.

Do doulas only support natural births?

Do doulas only support natural births? No, doulas can support their clients during all types of births, including natural births, medicated births, and cesarean births. Their role is to provide support and advocacy based on the client's preferences.

When should I hire a doula?

It's recommended to hire a doula early in your pregnancy to ensure you have enough time to build a relationship and discuss your birth preferences.

How much does a doula cost?

The cost of a doula can vary depending on factors such as location and experience. It's best to discuss fees and payment options with potential doulas.

If I have a partner, will they be involved?

Yes, doulas support both the birthing parent and their partner, helping the partner understand their role and providing support to them as well.

Can a doula help with breastfeeding?

Yes, many doulas are trained to provide breastfeeding support and can offer guidance and assistance with breastfeeding after the birth.

Is a doula covered by insurance?

Some insurance plans may cover doula services, but it's best to check with your insurance provider to see if they offer coverage.
